PokerAllstar.com Interviews Bill Spadea, Winner Against all Odds at World Series of Poker
(PRWEB) November 6, 2007 -- PokerAllstar.com, a ComKings website, is pleased to announce the third in a series of interviews with talented World Series of Poker rising stars that competed in this year's WSOP at the Rio Hotel & Casino.
Bill Spadea's story is one of determination and survival. You see, he was headed to the World Series of Poker in 2006, but had a heart attack, so when the tournament rolled around again this year he told himself he wasn't going to die not having played in the WSOP. Bill did anything but die in the Main Event, besting thousands of players until he ended up at the table before the Final Table, bumping heads with Jerry Yang, Hevad Khan, Philip Hilm, and Lee Childs, until he was finally eliminated by Jon Kalmar's full house of Aces over Eights.
Kurt Stine, publisher of ComKings, also attended the WSOP this year and conducted the interview with Bill in Las Vegas after he'd cashed 13th in the WSOP Main Event, winning just over $429,000.
"Bill is a friendly and courageous person," said Mr. Stine, "and it was a pleasure to observe his outgoing personality cheer up the mood at each table he sat down to."
